Loved the course and staff, The biggest problem wasn't the course or the employees—it was the reservation system and the fact that no confirmation emails are sent. Before our first round, I called and explained that we wanted to play as six in a 3-vs-3 scramble, with two players only putting. The goal was to keep the pace moving by having the less experienced golfers pick up and head to the green instead of spending time looking for balls or hitting multiple shots. The woman on the phone was very nice, approved the plan, but said she couldn't send a confirmation email. When we arrived, the gentleman in the pro shop—who was awesome—understandably questioned the six-person group. Honestly, I would have done the same thing in his position. After I explained what I'd been told when making the reservation, he handled it professionally, let us play, and we finished without holding anyone up. The next day, I called and booked 18 holes for two people. Once again, no confirmation email was sent. When we arrived, the reservation showed only 9 holes. Fortunately, another staff member was great about it and got us out for 18 before the men's league as long as we kept moving. On our final day, I again called and booked the same 3-vs-3 scramble for 18 holes. Once again, no confirmation email. Once again, when we arrived, our reservation showed only 9 holes instead of 18. Another great staff member did everything he could to get us on the course. For the record, one team shot 2-under and the other 2-over, so pace of play was never an issue. The only negative interaction we had all week came after the front nine. A different employee in the pro shop told us we never should have been allowed out as six, said he'd never seen it happen in nine years, and criticized us to the group behind us—even though we'd already completed nine holes without any pace-of-play issues. The irony was that we were then sent out behind another group of six, with only three golf bags, two shirts with sleeves, 1 appearance on Jerry Springer and zero pars. That made the lecture feel a little unnecessary and the round extremely long. My only real criticism is the reservation process. Three reservations, three mistakes, and each one had to be fixed by staff at the counter. A simple confirmation email would have prevented every bit of confusion we experienced.

Great little course. Always well kept. The shop has a great beer selection and nice rentals. Definitely worth a stop if you're after a quick game.

I visit RC for a few months every summer golfing multiple times a week all over the hills. The Exec course is great for newer players or sharpening up the short game, or if you just wanna golf and not spend so much. The course is always in really good condition and the greens far exceed the level of course. I always go there as a single and pair up with whomever is there, I’ve met so many really great folks and always leave hoping I’ll run into them again on the course. I grew up playing this course a lot as a kid in the early 90’s and I think I might enjoy it more now at 50.

Beautiful course, fast play. The only negative is Hole #9 the cup is approximately 1 inch too far to the right.
